It has long been used to create music and sound effects for science fiction, horror, and other films. Ed Sussman presents the history and a demonstration of the theremin, and finally, the audience will be able to try this unique instrument themselves! Ages 13+.

Science and Art are ways of appreciating the beauty of the natural world. Together, they enrich our lives. Brian Matsumoto, a consultant on photomicrography, and Carol Roullard, a member of the Moorpark Art Commission, have an extensive background in scientific and artistic photography, have published more than a dozen books, and will display art illustrations from science and describe how to create science art photographs with a cell phone. Ages 13+.
