F.L.A.S.H.: Fun Learning After School Hours

This program is for 6th graders attending Mesa Verde or Chaparral Middle Schools. Bus transportation from school to the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center is provided by Moorpark Unified School District (MUSD). The program runs on MUSD school days from the conclusion of school hours until 6:00 p.m. The fee is $399 per month, and includes daily activities (homework help, art and STEM, sports and games, etc.), daily snack, and a monthly capstone field trip or event. For qualifying students, full scholarships are available through MUSD! One way to qualify is to show proof of being on the 23/24 school year free or reduced lunch program. Registration for the 2023/24 school year is now open! Spaces are limited to 24 students. To register, complete the annual enrollment form (must be received prior to the first day of attendance). Please fill in the form, print, and initial and sign where indicated. Make sure to complete all 3 pages!  Then, register online here. If you don't have an account with us, or don't remember your log-in, please call (805) 517-6300 for assistance. Note: If you are receiving a full scholarship from MUSD, please submit a 23/24 free/reduced school lunch letter to the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center. Once we have verified your eligibility, you will receive a unique coupon code to enter when completing your online enrollment; this coupon code will remove the fees for you.

To use the FREE bus transportation, MUSD is asking parents to fill out the online "Application for School Bus Pass" form.  Please select the "Add Special Instructions" and put in the Special Instructions: MS Afterschool Program.  This will generate a list for the bus driver of students who will be picked up for the afterschool program.
