Role of the Division

The Human Resources Division of the City Manager’s Office is responsible for:

  • Accessibility/ADA programs
  • Benefit administration
  • Coordinating personnel selection/recruitment
  • Coordination of employee events
  • Coordination of summer youth employment program
  • Labor relations
  • Providing information and assistance to city employees regarding city personnel rules
  • Review and coordination of the employee evaluation process
  • Risk management, insurance, and loss-control programs
  • Safety programs and OSHA compliance
  • Training and employee development program
  • Workers’ compensation administration
