Library Services

Responsibilities

The Moorpark City Library is responsible for providing adult, teen, and children’s library services to the residents of Moorpark. The library is open seven days a week for a total of 58 hours and is staffed with six full-time employees. The city utilizes the services of a private contractor (LS&S) to operate and staff the library.

Services Provided

The Moorpark Library provides:

  • Homework assistance
  • Other special activities and events
  • Reference services
  • Summer programming
  • Teen activities
