The General Plan is a long-range policy document that sets forth broad goals and objectives for the growth and development of the City of Moorpark. As required by state law, the General Plan takes a long-term view and is designed to guide growth and development in the city over the next 20 to 25 years.
The current General Plan (as adopted by the Planning Commission and the Moorpark City Council) consists of the elements listed below. If you have questions about the General Plan or the General Plan Map, please contact the Community Development Department at 805-517-6200.
