Current Routes

On Wednesday, July 7, 2021, the Moorpark City Council will consider changes to Moorpark City Transit Route 1 and Route 2 bus service.  The proposed changes adjust the bus schedules and changes the trip origin/destination from Moorpark College to Moorpark Civic Center.

El miércoles 7 de julio de 2021, el Moorpark City Council/Ayuntamiento de Moorpark considererá hacer cambios en el servicio de autobuses de la Ruta 1 y Ruta 2 del Moorpark City Transit/Tránsito de la ciudad de Moorpark.  Los cambios propuestos ajustan los horarios de los autobuses y cambian el origen/destino del viaje de Moorpark College a Moorpark Civic Center.

COVID-19 UPDATES (as of June 17, 2021)

Fare continues to be suspended.

Passengers should board the bus from the rear door and maintain six feet of separation from other passengers.

Face masks are available for passengers without a mask.  Service will be refused for passengers who refuse to wear a mask effective August 4, 2020.

  • Route 2:
    • Monday through Friday
    •  6:15 a.m. to 5:54 p.m. (Effective August 19, 2019)

Moorpark City Transit Evaluation

The Moorpark City Transit Evaluation - Final Report (Report) was approved by the Moorpark City Council on May 17, 2017.  The Report covers existing service of Moorpark City Transit, market analysis, rider feedback (survey results), service concepts, performance monitoring, service expansion, fare recommendations, and marketing recommendations.  Moorpark City Transit is making changes to Route 1 and Route 2 based on the Report.  The Report is available for download here.
