Planning Commission


Regular meetings of the City Council and both Commissions are televised live on Moorpark Channel 10, a government access television channel. The meetings are replayed on the Monday at 7 p.m. following the meeting.

The Moorpark Planning Commission consists of five citizens who are appointed by the mayor and City Council for a two-year term to review matters related to planning and development.  The current Planning Commissioners are:

  • Bruce Hamous, Chair
  • Adam Haverstock, Commissioner
  • Kipp Landis, Chair

On January 18, 2017, the City Council appointed Debra Aquino, Mark DiCecco, Bruce Hamous, Adam Haverstock, and Kipp Landis to new two-year terms beginning with the Planning Commission meeting of January 24, 2017.


The commission considers such matters as the general plan, specific plans, rezonings, use permits, and subdivisions. The Planning Commission is the City CouncilĀ“s advisor on land use planning.
