NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission of the City of Moorpark, California, on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., at the Moorpark City Hall, located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California, 93021, to consider the application described below.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Community Development Director has determined that this proposal qualifies for a General Rule Exemption in accordance with Section 15061 of California Code of Regulations (CEQA Guidelines).  No further environmental documentation is required.

Entitlement: Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 2018-04

Applicant: City of Moorpark                 

Proposal: An amendment to Chapters 17.20 (Uses by Zone) and 17.28 (Standards for Specific Uses) of the Moorpark Municipal Code Addressing Temporary Filming, and Recommending Approval of New Rules and Regulations for Temporary Filming

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Community Development Director has determined this project is consistent with the Mitigated Negative Declaration adopted for the original project, in that there are no substantial changes to the project which will require revisions to the previously adopted Mitigated Negative Declaration, there are no changes to the circumstances under which the project is undertaken that would require revisions to the previously adopted Mitigated Negative Declaration, and there is no new information of substantial importance that shows that the project would have one or more significant effects not discussed in the previously adopted Mitigated Negative Declaration, or that significant effects previously examined will be substantially more severe than shown in the previous Mitigated Negative Declaration and that no additional environmental review is required.
