NOTICE OF CONTINUANCE OF PUBLIC HEARING

On July 23, 2019, the duly noticed public hearing regarding: 

Consider a Resolution Approving Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 2019-03, to Allow the Production and Sale of Wine for Off-Site Consumption Within a 960 Square-Foot Tenant Space, Located at 111-165 Poindexter Avenue, Suite D (Dexmoor Center), and Making a Determination of Exemption Under CEQA in Connection Therewith, on the Application of Patrick Kelley (Cavaletti Vineyards, LLC).  

Was continued, due to a lack of quorum, to the Regular Planning Commission meeting to be held at 7:00 p.m. on August 27, 2019, in the Community Center located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission of the City of Moorpark, California, on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., at the Moorpark City Hall, located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California, 93021, to consider the application described below.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Community Development Director has determined this project to be Categorically Exempt in accordance with 15301 (Class 1: Existing Facilities) of the California Code of Regulations (CEQA Guidelines). No further environmental documentation is required.

Entitlement: Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 2019-03

Applicant: Patrick Kelley (for Cavaletti Vineyards, LLC)

Owner: Poindexter Properties, LLC    

Proposal: Allow the production, tasting, and sale of wine for off-site consumption within a 960 square-foot tenant space. Per Zoning Code Section: 17.20.060(B) (2), a CUP is required for wineries and sale of wine for off-site consumption within the General Commercial (C-2) zone.

The Planning Commission in their deliberation could approve the project, deny, or approve the project in an alternative form.  If you challenge the proposal in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department at, or prior to, the Public Hearing.
