Thank you for your interest in the Princeton Avenue Improvement Project! The City awarded a construction contract for the project in February 2022, and construction is expected to take approximately two years.
Please bookmark www.moorparkca.gov/PrincetonAve to get the latest project updates, including road and lane closures that will occasionally be necessary during construction.
We will also be posting all of our latest project updates at www.twitter.com/PrincetonAve.
Because of the large amount of grading, retaining wall construction, and utility relocation associated with the project, the project will take approximately two years to complete.
Once completed, Princeton Avenue will still have one vehicle lane in each direction but will feature wider lanes, a straightened alignment, left-turn lanes, bike lanes, sidewalks, stormdrain improvements, utility relocations, and broadband conduit. To make horizontal space for the street improvements, a large retaining wall will be constructed on the north side of the street to hold back the slope.
Security Paving, Inc., located in Westlake Village, is the contractor constructing the project.
If you have any questions or concerns about the project, please E-mail us or call us at (805) 517-6255.
