City Manager Announces Series of Meet and Greet Events for April

City Manager Meet and Greet

Troy Brown, Moorpark’s new City Manager, has announced a series of six Meet and Greet events throughout the City during the month of April.  Brown, who started with the City on March 5, would like to get to know Moorpark residents and businesses, introduce himself to the community, and hear from people about what is important to them.

All Meet and Greet events are open to the public and free to attend.  The events are scheduled for:

Meet and Greet Schedule

MOORPARK COUNTRY CLUB - FRIDAY, APRIL 20

Please join us for a lunchtime chat in the Champions Restaurant area to the left, as you enter the main lobby.  Attendees are encouraged to purchase their own lunches from the restaurant.

BARK IN THE PARK - SATURDAY, APRIL 21

Residents are encouraged to bring their dogs to the “Bark in the Park” event on April 21, to go on a walk along the walking path circling Tierra Rejada Park.  We will start adjacent to the west parking lot (along Mountain Trail Street) at 10:00 - look for a big blue City of Moorpark canopy!

CACTUS PATCH - TUESDAY, APRIL 24

Please join us for a morning chat at the Cactus Patch Restaurant on Historic High Street.  Attendees are encouraged to purchase their own breakfasts from the restaurant.

WALK AND TALK - SATURDAY, APRIL 28

The “Walk and Talk” event will start at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center and proceed around the park’s recently-opened 1.2-mile recreational loop trail around the park starting at 10:00 - look for a big blue City of Moorpark canopy next to the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center parking lot!
