Street Sweeping Parking Restrictions Return July 7th to Moorpark

When Sheltering At Home orders were issued in March, the City stopped issuing citations for vehicles parked on the street during scheduled street sweeping times.  Street sweeping continued, but the sweeper went around parked vehicles without issuing tickets.  This has resulted in only partially-cleaned streets.  Now most people are getting out of the house more often and the streets need their full cleaning to keep gutters and drains free and our city clean.

On July 7th, the City will once again begin citing vehicles parked on the street during the scheduled street sweeping time.  Monday, July 6th is a City holiday and there will be no street sweeping that day.  As a courtesy, any vehicles cited on the first street sweeping day in July will receive a warning notice.  Parking tickets will be issued on subsequent street sweeping days.  For more information on street sweeping, holiday schedules, and the days and times for street sweeping in your neighborhood, go to  Click the link at the bottom of the page for the Street Sweeping Map / Schedule.
