Moorpark City Hall (799 Moorpark Avenue) will be open to the public by appointment only starting on Tuesday, July 21. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and may be scheduled by calling (805) 517-6200.
Moorpark City Hall originally closed to the public on March 18 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but reopened to the public for both walk-in and appointment service on June 22. However, as the statewide and Ventura County positivity rates have been trending upward and Ventura County found itself on the state’s County Monitoring List for COVID-19, City officials have decided to limit City Hall access to appointments only. Doing so will minimize the number of people present at City Hall at any given time and better protect both the public and City staff.
Although in-person City Hall visits are still possible, the City continues to encourage the public to take advantage of the City’s on-line, phone, and E-mail options to obtain services. A list of how to access various City services is available on the City’s COVID-19 information portal at www.moorparkca.gov/COVID19.
Visitors with appointments at City Hall must wear face coverings, but face coverings will be available for individuals who do not have one.
The Moorpark Active Adult Center is still closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Moorpark City Library is also closed to the public, but does offer curbside pickup, with information available at www.moorparklibrary.org or (805) 517-6370.
