Please note that you will need to create a new account in the Moorpark SHOP system, even if you already have a CityTech account.

Walk-in hours are 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday - Friday except for holidays. Afternoons are reserved for appointments only. Time slots can be requested for 1:00, 2:00, or 3:00 as available.

Duties
The Building and Safety Division, provided through contract services by Charles Abbott Associates, reviews plans and issues building permits for compliance with:
- 2019 California Building Code
- 2019 California Fire Code
- 2019 California National Electric Code
- 2019 California Plumbing Code
- Various other building codes
