Children's Programs
The following programs are offered periodically throughout the year to preschool and elementary ages. Please see Moorpark City Library's online and print calendars for current program series dates and times.
  • Little Bilingual Readers
  • Family Storytime
  • PJ Storytime is held weekly on Thursdays, from 6:30 - 7pm: guest readers delight children of all ages to experience the wonder of books
  • Read to a dog program for fun and fluency is held once per month
  • Baby Book Bunnies: acclimate your very young ones to the feel of all things book related and help them socialize with others
  • Preschool learning with iPad technologies
  • Reading Buddies meet for stories and activities
  • Gametime and crafts programs are held monthly. Family style board, card, and Wii games and zany crafts for kids to enjoy together in a safe family friendly environment. Your Library is a great place to be during school holidays.
  • Summer Reading Club: sign-ups start every year in June. Programs, shows, and incentives just for reading fantastic stories and participating in flights of the imagination. Be sure to avoid the "Summer Slide" and maintain reading skills all year long by joining Moorpark City Library's Summer Reading Club.
