What is Curbside Pick Up?
Curbside Pick Up allows patrons to pick up physical library materials that have been placed on hold while the library building is closed.
When can I pick up items using Curbside Pick Up?
Curbside Pick Up is available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Who can use this service?
All Moorpark City Library cardholders can utilize the service.
How do I use the Curbside Pick Up?
Using our Curbside Pick Up is easy. Simply follow these steps:
Will I lose my HOLD items if I do not pick up during the library closure?
Yes, if the items are not picked up within 7 days of the system hold notification, the hold will expire and the item will be held for the next patron in the queue.
How many items can I place on hold?
Patrons may place up to five items on hold
How many items can I check out?
Patrons may check out up to five items.
How do I return library materials during the closure?
The Library’s book drops are now open and available for you to deposit your returns. Staff are clearing the drops daily, and immediately placing all the returned materials in a 72-hour quarantine before further handling as recommended by the Institute of Library and Museum Services and the CDC. Please give us several days to remove the items from your library account. Rest assured you will not be charged for those days of materials quarantine.
Can I donate my books to the Library now?
Please do not bring any materials to any of our Library locations. The Library is not able to accept any book donations at this time.
