INCOME Information

When applying for the First Time Home Buyer Program, income for ALL household members over the age of 18 must be provided for the past 90-days. Should no income be reported, then the Unemployment Attestation form (English/Spanish) and Attestation of No Income form (English/Spanish) must be submitted with the application. Should applicant(s) have self-employment income, then the Self Employment form should be submitted along with all applicable verification. If you have questions on income, please contact staff before submitting the application. Lack of verification or incomplete documentation may lead to the denial of the application. 

Should the household be receiving child or spousal support, please ensure that the court order along with the most recent 90-days of payment are provided. If the household is receiving Social Security, Unemployment, Retirement, etc., please ensure the award letter along with the most recent 90-days of payment are provided.

TIER Standing 

To be in Tier 1, applicant(s) will need to provide a current rental or lease agreement. Should one not be available, then a letter from the landlord showing applicant(s) name, address, move in date, rent/lease amount and landlord contact information may be accepted. The letter must be signed and dated recently (within 30-days of application). To be in Tier 2, applicant(s) must provide a letter from employer showing the start date of employment and indicate if it has been consecutive. The employer must provide their contact information and the letter must be signed and dated recently (within 30-days of application).

TAX Information

When applying for the First Time Home Buyer program, should the applicant(s) need to request a tax transcript or verification of non-filing please go to the IRS webpage for more details. Please note if applicant(s) have not filed taxes then Form 4506-T must be provided. Ensure that all pages of the most recent 2-years of taxes are provided, along with the Schedule C and/or 1099 if applicable.
