Code Compliance
Responsibilities
The Code Compliance Division works with the community to investigate and resolve violations of the Moorpark Municipal Code, Conditions of Approval, and local, state and federal law.

As staff are often in the field, email is recommended for quickest response.
When reporting a complaint, please include the following information:
- Detailed description of the issue, including the address or location.
- A phone number or email address where you may be contacted.
- Your name.
Incomplete information may limit the ability of Code Compliance staff to investigate and resolve an issue. City policy requires that all complaints be regarded as strictly confidential. Code Compliance staff do not release reporting party information.
