Caltrans has announced lane closures on State Route 118 (SR-118/Los Angeles Avenue) in Moorpark for paving and electrical work. Crews will conduct nighttime, moving concrete paving operations in both directions of Los Angeles Avenue with traffic reduced to one lane in each direction at the following locations, dates, and times:
- Tierra Rejada Road from 7 p.m. Friday, Mar. 27 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 28.
- Tierra Rejada Road and Maureen Lane from 7 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 28 to 12 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 29.
Crews will conduct daytime, moving operations in both directions of Los Angeles Avenue at multiple intersections between Tierra Rejada Road and Spring Road for concrete and electrical work on the following dates and times:
- Monday, Mar. 30 through Friday, Apr. 3.
- Right lane blocked from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Crews will conduct nighttime, moving operations for asphalt paving on Los Angeles Avenue with at least one lane open to traffic from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the following dates and locations:
- Monday, Mar. 30: Westbound from Butter Creek Road to Moorpark Avenue
- Tuesday, Mar. 31: Eastbound from Butter Creek Road to Park Lane
- Wednesday, Apr. 1: Eastbound from Park Lane to Spring Road. Westbound from Spring Road to Maureen Lane.
- Thursday, Apr. 2: Westbound from Maureen Lane to Montair Drive
The $29 million State Route 118 Pavement Rehabilitation Project will replace more than 8 lane miles on SR-118 between Montair Drive to Spring Road. The project will also upgrade guardrail, traffic signal equipment, roadside signs, and curb ramps to Americans with Disabilities Act standards.
