In 2020, the City began participating in the National Community Survey (NCS). The survey gauges residents' opinions of a representative sample of Moorpark households on the economy, mobility, community design, utilities, safety, the natural environment, parks and recreation, health and wellness, education/arts/culture, and inclusivity and engagement. The survey then compares the responses of Moorpark residents to residents of other cities of a similar size across the country. This information is helpful to City officials as they set policy goals, implement programs, and prioritize how to use City resources to best improve the quality of life in Moorpark.
