Event Information

The Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center offers Moorpark residents three "Free Landfill Days" each year.  At these events, Moorpark residents may drop off extra trash, bulky items, and recyclable items at no charge.

The 2023 Free Landfill Days for Moorpark residents are:

• Sunday, April 16, from 10 A.M. - 4 P.M. 
• Sunday, June 18, from 10 A.M. - 4 P.M.
• Sunday, September 17, from 10 A.M. - 4 P.M.

Please note that hazardous materials, electronic waste, and biological/medical waste are not accepted at Free Landfill Days.
