Open House Directional Signs

With passage of Ordinance Number 332, Open House Directional Signs are now permitted in the public right of way, provided they have a valid sign permit and meet city regulations for placement, which will become effective January 1, 2007 (permitted by Section 17.40.100.F.2 of the Municipal Code). Code Compliance Program

On March 7, 2012, the City Council adopted Resolution Number 2012-3091 establishing Policy 4.3: Code Compliance Program to create a clear and concise guide to achieve compliance with the Moorpark Municipal Code.

Design Standards for Solar Energy Systems

On February 18, 2004, the City Council adopted Resolution Number 2004-2169 establishing Design Standards for Solar Energy Systems to ensure solar energy systems are integrated into the buildings they serve without detracting from the visual character.

Procedures to Implement the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)

On July 21, 2004, the City Council adopted Resolution Number 2004-2224 and on September 15, 2004, the Moorpark Redevelopment Agency adopted Resolution Number 2004-142, establishing Procedures of the City of Moorpark and Moorpark Redevelopment Agency to Implement the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Landscape Standards and Guidelines

On April 4, 2012, the City Council adopted Resolution Number 2012-3096 establishing Landscape Standards and Guidelines.
