Join us at the Moorpark City Library for summer adventures in Dungeons & Dragons!
We will have two different sessions each week, running from mid-June to mid-August.
**Teens only (age 13-19): Friday afternoons from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.**
Everyone (age 13+): Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 7:45 p.m.
Spots at each table are limited and the number of available tables is dependent on the number of registered Game Masters. Please register only for sessions that you know you will attend.
**FRIDAY TEEN SESSIONS ARE CURRENTLY CAPPED. ANY FURTHER REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ADDED TO THE WAIT LIST AND WILL BE CONTACTED IF ANOTHER SPOT OPENS UP.**
If you have questions, please contact Emma the teen librarian at eschaefer@moorparklibrary.org.
We will not be running any D&D sessions for children age 12 and under at this time.
Each D&D table consists of 1 Game Master, or GM, and 3-5 players. Each player creates and controls a single character within the adventure and works together in a team with the other players. The GM creates and controls the environment, obstacles, enemies, non-player characters, and other elements of the world that the player characters explore, resulting in a collaborative storytelling experience.
Standby GMs will be placed as players as much as possible, but may be asked to step in and GM if a regular GM is absent or if there is a large surplus of players.
Teens can earn volunteer hours by registering as a GM or standby GM.
Teen-only D&D sessions will take place on Fridays from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
FRIDAY SESSIONS ARE CURRENTLY FULL. FURTHER REGISTRATIONS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAIT LIST.
Mixed adult and teen D&D sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 5:00 - 7:45 p.m.
